Material Planning Coordinator

OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY

The Material Planning Coordinator (MPC) is responsible for making adjustments for existing inventory in Shopify, assembling the inventory list and other spreadsheets for product inventory and raw materials. The MPC also collaborates closely with the manager to place orders for raw materials and finish goods.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists in fulfilling the Vision and Mission of World Changers Church International Maintains up-to-date inventory system that captures the amounts of materials/products for Production and Shipping Department within Shopify e-commerce environment to reference upon request Maintains the activation of all products in Shopify e-store Maintains timelines for finished products produced by vendor, and keeps manager informed of current statuses/challenges Maintains up-to-date data logs both electronic, and hard copies to ensure to have current and historical trends to reference upon request Works closely with management to assist in the ordering and maintenance of all raw materials/vendor produced product Assists in special project type assignments Coordinates and perform weekly and annual inventory cycle counts Maintains up-to-date Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the position Performs other duties as assigned

EDUCATION

High School Diploma or GED 4 to 6 years of relevant experience

EXPERIENCE

: Inventory management Warehouse experience Forklift / Walkie lift Box Truck with liftgate

Exceptional organizational skills Maintains current and excellent records/both hardcopies & electronic Ability to plan/prioritize and execute assignments accordingly to meet given deadlines Strong writing and verbal communication skills with the ability to work well with the others Ability to work with minimal supervision Works well under pressure Must be flexible and adaptable to change Mathematical and comprehension skills necessary Time management skills necessary Proficiency with Shopify eCommerce Basic Computer Skills Ability to operate a weight scale Experience operating Forklift / Walkie lift Experience driving box truck with lift gate Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook Ability to learn new systems, processes & procedures A gracious, Christ-like demeanor in demanding situations
