Job Description

JOB PURPOSE
Manages stockroom inventory and ensures products are stored properly according to food safety standards. Receives merchandise and maintains standard inventory levels set by management.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED
High school diploma or equivalent
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
One (1) year of relevant experience in warehousing or inventory control
MINIMUM LICENSURE REQUIRED
Current, valid and unrestricted driver's license
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
ServSafe Certified General knowledge of storeroom methods and procedures
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Maintains temperature-controlled environment for food safety purposes 2. Receives deliveries and verifies product orders 3. Maintains clean and organized storage areas 4. Follows the FIFO (first in, first out) method for inventory receiving, storage and usage 5. Transports supplies and completes requisitions 6. Assists operations as needed 7. Organizes inventory upon delivery and issues to specified locations
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite) Strong attention to detail and follow up skills Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette

$15.00 - $16.50 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
