Job Description

What you'll do: As a Freight Handler at Walmart Supply Chain, you will have a critical role in moving product through our Distribution network to the Stores to service our Customers. Your role is critical in providing our customers with the product they expect at an everyday low price. An AEO (Automated Equipment Operator) supports automated material-handling systems in a perishable distribution center to keep product flowing safely, accurately, and within cold-chain requirements. Responsibilities include operating system-directed controls (e.g., induction, divert, palletizing/depalletizing, and conveyor interfaces), monitoring equipment status and alarms, clearing minor jams, verifying scans/labels and trailer or lane assignments, and documenting exceptions. The role follows food safety, sanitation, and temperature-control procedures, uses required PPE, and escalates mechanical or system issues to maintenance/controls teams while working in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment. What you'll bring: Provides clerical/administrative support through generating and maintaining forms, reports, and logs via computerized management software; performing weekly inventory; tracking financial transactions; communicating with suppliers regarding equipment warranties. Clerical duties (e.g., filing, keying, faxing), entering data and extracting data from multiple systems. Use of computer applications required (e.g., email, spreadsheets, word processing, and Microsoft Office). The ability to be accurate and focus on attention to details will be critical. Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity. Performs additional duties as assigned. These roles will include clerical positions such as Service Shop Clerks, Quality Assurance Clerks, Administration Assistant and Human Resources clerks etc. #supplychainjobs
