Inventory Clerk

Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our logistics and supply chain operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock records, and supporting efficient warehouse distribution processes. This role plays a vital part in maintaining optimal inventory control, facilitating procurement activities, and enhancing overall supply chain performance. The ideal applicant will possess strong data analysis skills, experience with warehouse management systems, and a comprehensive understanding of inventory management principles. Duties Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels across multiple warehouse locations using advanced warehouse management systems such as ERP or AS400. Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and audits to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies. Analyze inventory data to support demand planning, stock replenishment, and procurement strategies. Collaborate with sourcing teams to evaluate supplier performance and manage contracts related to materials handling and materials management. Utilize data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau to generate reports on inventory trends, supply chain analytics, and stock movements. Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies in stocking, shipping & receiving, and order fulfillment workflows. Assist in root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies or stock shortages, implementing corrective actions. Coordinate with logistics providers including 3PL partners to optimize shipping & receiving operations. Manage materials handling procedures ensuring safe heavy lifting practices and efficient storage solutions. Contribute to procurement activities by analyzing pricing strategies, conducting financial analysis, and supporting sourcing decisions.

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED At least 1 year of relevant experience in inventory, warehouse, or distribution Strong attention to detail and accuracy Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems

Shift Timings:

8am to 4:30 pm Weekly schedule: 40 hours OTH1
