Job Description
About the Role / General Summary Detail Counters are responsible for accurately verifying inbound merchandise by matching physical product to purchase orders (POs) before electronically receiving the POs into the AS400 system using RF scanners. This role is critical to inventory accuracy, vendor compliance, and downstream operations within the distribution center.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow all DC safety guidelinesCommunicate discrepancies to leadership effectively and immediatelyMaintain a high degree of accuracy to prevent inventory discrepanciesEnsure work areas are kept clean and organizedAble to work independently as well as interdepartmentally as necessaryQualifications & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- 1 - 2 years warehouse experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel / Outlook
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry and written communication
- Ability to maneuver up to 60 pounds, walk, bend and reach for extended periods and push carts up to 25 pounds
- Bilingual (English/Spanish preferred)
- Able to work weekends based on business needs
