Job Summary:
The Inventory/Logistics Associate will ensure that all inventory items are properly identified and readily accessible in accordance with Arthrex-Naperville's inventory cycle and policies.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Executes daily inventory analysis, focusing on FIFO and cost containment; identifies and resolves discrepancies and problems. Operates and manages the Inventory System. Monitors inventory/expired goods and defines territorial par levels. Ensures all expired inventory is returned to Arthrex as per the Arthrex policy. Monitors and assigns charges for all missing/expired items throughout all Arthrex-Naperville's geography. Ensures Complaints Reporting of all Medical Devices are identified, reported, and returned to Arthrex for faulty medical devices. Oversees logistics of delivery guidelines of surgical trays, implants, disposable items, and capital equipment as per executive management. Oversee the placement of surgical trays and capital equipment with accounts. Assists with overseeing Biologics products and ensure guidelines are followed as per FDA and State of Illinois. Strictly follows all FDA and State of Illinois guidelines regarding receiving, proper storage, complaints reporting, and FIFO of all Biologics products. Liaison for onsite FDA audits. Manages expired biological products as per the manufacturers' requirements. Communicates effectively with each department as needed regarding new inventory processes and departmental changes. Performs additional related duties as assigned. The above statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed in this job. Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail. Strong knowledge of Windows, Excel, and ability to understand and operate the inventory software system. Thorough understanding of inventory policies and procedures. Ability to travel within Arthrex-Naperville's geography as needed.
Education and Experience:
1-3 years of experience in logistics required. Bachelor's degree preferred
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds at times. Salary Range $42,000 - $60,000
