24 hours per week Position Overview Our client, a growing concrete coatings company in Lombard, IL, is seeking a dependable and organized Shop & Inventory Associate to support daily shop operations and ensure materials, equipment, and supplies are properly organized and ready for upcoming jobs. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, staying organized, and taking ownership of a shop environment. The right candidate will help maintain inventory, receive and organize materials, prepare supplies for field crews, and keep the shop clean, safe, and efficient. Key Responsibilities Receive, unload, organize, and store materials and supplies Maintain accurate inventory of coating materials, tools, equipment, and shop supplies Prepare materials, tools, and equipment for upcoming installation jobs Assist with loading and unloading vehicles and trailers Keep the shop, storage areas, and workspaces clean and organized Monitor inventory levels and communicate when supplies need to be reordered Properly label and organize materials for easy access Inspect tools and equipment and report damaged or missing items Assist with basic maintenance and organization of shop equipment Help ensure crews have the necessary materials and equipment before leaving for jobs Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment Perform other general shop and warehouse duties as needed Qualifications Reliable and dependable with strong attendance Organized and detail-oriented Comfortable performing physical, hands-on work Able to lift and move materials and equipment as needed Ability to work independently and stay productive without constant supervision Basic ability to use hand tools and shop equipment Previous warehouse, shop, construction, landscaping, manufacturing, or concrete/coatings experience is a plus, but not required Valid driver's license preferred Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in keeping things clean, organized, stocked, and ready to go . This person should be comfortable working in a shop environment, handling materials, and taking responsibility for making sure the field crews have what they need to get the job done. Position Details This position is being offered on a 90-day contract basis , with the potential for continued employment based on performance, reliability, and the company's ongoing needs.Schedule:
