Our warehouse in Romeoville, IL plays a crucial role in ensuring that our clients receive accurate and high-quality inventory management services. Job Summary As a Warehouse Inventory Quality Control Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of inventory within our warehouse. This role involves conducting audits, inspections, and quality checks to maintain efficient inventory control processes. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities Perform routine inventory audits and cycle counts to verify stock levels. Inspect inbound and outbound shipments to ensure accuracy and quality standards. Identify and report discrepancies such as damaged, misplaced, or missing items. Collaborate with warehouse staff and management to resolve inventory issues. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track and update inventory records. Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and storage of goods according to company standards. Assist in process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and reduce errors. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
Minimum of 1-2 years in warehouse inventory control, quality assurance, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning equipment. Attention to
Detail:
Ability to detect errors and inconsistencies in inventory records.
Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, and operate warehouse equipment as needed.
Team Player:
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting inventory issues and discrepancies. Preferred Qualifications Experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation industries. Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain). Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations related to warehouse operations.
