Shipping and Receiving Dock worker

Key Responsibilities Pick, pull, and stage customer orders accurately and efficiently Verify order quantities and prepare shipments for loading Load outbound trucks safely and securely to prevent damage Unload and receive incoming materials and verify quantities and condition Accurately record receipts and report discrepancies or damages Put away materials in designated locations following warehouse standards Maintain clean, clear aisles and staging areas Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues Support inventory accuracy through proper handling and storage Identify and communicate operational or safety issues to supervision Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Other duties as assigned by management Required Qualifications Forklift certification (required) and demonstrated proficiency Previous experience in warehouse, dock, or shipping/receiving operations Ability to safely lift and move materials (50+ lbs regularly) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Experience in manufacturing or distribution environments Familiarity with shipping documentation and processes Work Environment Warehouse and dock environment with exposure to forklifts, trucks, and varying temperatures. Position requires standing, walking, lifting, and operating material handling equipment. Adherence to all safety and operational procedures is required.

Pay:

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
