We strive to push the boundaries of traditional glass arts. Our mission is to provide the art glass community with the supplies, education, and confidence it takes to reach new levels of expression and beauty in art glass. We are looking for a dependable and organized Warehouse Receiver to join our team. This position is responsible for receiving incoming shipments, accurately putting inventory away, maintaining organized stock locations, performing inventory counts, and keeping inventory records up to date in our computer system. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works efficiently, takes pride in keeping the warehouse clean and organized, and can prioritize getting received merchandise processed and put away in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Verify products against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Accurately enter received inventory into the computer system.
- Label and organize incoming merchandise.
- Put received products away in their proper warehouse locations in a timely manner.
- Stock and replenish warehouse inventory as needed.
- Perform regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventory counts.
- Investigate and report inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory locations and records.
- Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including picking, packing, and organizing merchandise as needed.
- Safely operate warehouse equipment, including a stand-up forklift when qualified.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies.
- Work efficiently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous warehouse, receiving, stocking, or inventory experience preferred.
- Stand-up forklift experience preferred; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills and ability to accurately enter information into an inventory system.
- Ability to read packing slips, purchase orders, and product information.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and complete receiving and put-away duties in a timely manner.
- Must be able to regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs .
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the workday.
- Willingness to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
