WHY DO WE NEED YOU?
The Cycle Counter maintains and handles flow of materials and products in distribution areas according to established guidelines. The correct person will have the ability to operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment to move product in and out of various locations in effort to investigate, update and count items. This role requires accuracy, physical stamina and attention to detail all while adhering to the company standards of safety, security and productivity.First Shift Hours:
6:30am-3:00pm, Monday-Friday, with occasional over-timeIS THIS JOB FOR YOU?
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Cycle Counting and Bin Checks Product Put Back Gratis Consolidation Ensuring incoming and outgoing materials are accurate and free of damage or errors by precise inspection Assist receiving and replenishment departments with placing and moving materials accurately Investigating misplaced product and resolving discrepancies Meet standards of safety, productivity and accuracy to ensure customer satisfaction and timely shipments Follow the Saint-Gobain Golden Rules of Safety and OSHA standards, reporting all concerns to the supervisor Ability to operate a stock picker (SP) or willingness to learnQUALIFICATIONS
Ability to work at heights- Required 1+ years of experience in warehouse cycle counting or inventory control
- Required Ability to pass OSHA approved Jungheinrich material handling equipment certification
- Required Ability to safely operate powered industrial truck (PIT) equipment, Stock Picker (SP)
- Required Ability to lift 30 lbs consistently, up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Required Ability to maintain a high level of frequency & intensity in other physical activities including, but not limited to reaching, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, stooping, kneeling & crouching
