SUMMARY OF DUTIES
Support and assist in overseeing the supervision of all Inventory personnel; responsible for the movement and assignment of all inventory in the warehouse
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Additional duties, which are necessary to carry out the function of Lead Inventory Clerk, may be assigned and are incorporated by reference into this job description. Responsible for overseeing and assisting in the supervision of all inventory staff in order to ensure proper communication to Operations Coordinator Responsible for assigning locations and maintaining inventory of all products in the warehouse Coordinates all computer related information concerning product inventory pallets and locations as provided by warehouse staff, buyers and other departments Responsible for adjustments made to the inventory count for improperly received or located inventory Responsible for the cyclic count of inventory and products which are "scratched" or not found by other employees to determine if the product can be found or if the inventory needs to be adjusted Responsible for maintaining inventory by pallet in specific locations in the warehouse Responsible for putting up returns/good product into correct pick/replenish location Responsible for knowledgeable use of RF terminal to track the materials for inventory control Reports to work on time, as directed by the Operations Coordinator, and completes all duties in a timely manner Performs above listed duties in a cooperative, capable manner while processing the information effectively and communicating the information as needed effectively Perform any other duty assigned by Operations Coordinator or upper management team as needed All personnel within this job description shall be subject to cross-training into jobs within the organization based on Company needs
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position assists the Operations Coordinator with communication and supervision of employees; this position does not directly supervise, evaluate, or discipline employees
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands of this job include medium physical activity performing light strenuous activities of an administrative, productive and/or technical nature that must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand. The employee may be required to occasionally walk, sit, talk or hear, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands or arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift 10 to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job in a warehouse environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee must frequently work in wet humid conditions and in outdoor weather conditions. The employee must occasionally work near moving mechanical parts, in high, precarious places and in extreme cold. The noise level of the work environment is usually moderate.
