Job Description
Description We are looking for a dependable Inventory Clerk to join our team in Woburn, Massachusetts for a Contract position. This role supports daily warehouse and inventory activities in a fast-moving distribution setting, with a focus on accuracy, organization, and timely order handling. The schedule is Monday through Friday and includes a one-hour lunch break along with two 15-minute breaks. The ideal candidate is comfortable working on their feet, managing multiple tasks, and contributing to a clean, efficient operation.
Responsibilities:
Process incoming and outgoing shipments by preparing, verifying, and handling packages for carrier pickup and delivery.
Perform routine inventory counts and help maintain accurate stock records through cycle counting and inventory review.
Assist with order fulfillment tasks such as picking, packing, labeling, and preparing materials for shipment.
Support kitting assignments by gathering components and assembling items according to work instructions.
Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts when needed, in a safe and responsible manner.
Maintain an orderly work area by keeping warehouse spaces clean, organized, and ready for daily operations. Requirements
At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred, though training may be available for a strong entry-level candidate.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while meeting productivity expectations and daily deadlines.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to stay organized and complete tasks accurately.
Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and standing or walking for most of an 8-hour shift.
Clear written and verbal communication skills in English.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Ability to work well with a team while also handling responsibilities independently with minimal supervision.
Familiarity with AS9100 standards is an advantage.
