Jobs › Woburn, MA › Inventory Clerk Robert Half Inventory Clerk Woburn, MA Apply Description We are looking for a dependable Inventory Clerk to join our team in Woburn, Massachusetts on a Contract basis. This position supports daily warehouse and inventory activities in a fast-moving distribution setting, with a focus on accuracy, organization, and timely order handling. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in keeping stock records precise, and can contribute to an efficient and well-maintained operation.

Responsibilities:

• Process incoming and outgoing shipments accurately, including preparing packages and coordinating carrier pickups and deliveries.
• Monitor inventory levels through routine counts, stock checks, and record updates to help maintain accurate on-hand quantities.
• Support cycle counting and broader inventory control activities to identify discrepancies and keep materials properly accounted for.
• Assist with kitting and order preparation by gathering, organizing, and packaging items according to work instructions.
• Operate warehouse equipment as needed to move materials safely and efficiently throughout the facility.
• Maintain an orderly, clean, and safe workspace that supports smooth day-to-day warehouse operations.
• Handle picking, packing, and shipping tasks while meeting productivity expectations and quality standards.
• Use business software and standard office applications to document inventory activity and communicate shipment details. Requirements
• At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred, though training may be available for a strong candidate.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while managing order fulfillment and inventory tasks with care.
• Strong attention to detail and a highly organized approach to tracking materials and completing daily assignments.
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and remaining on your feet for extended periods during an 8-hour shift.
• Able to work both collaboratively with a team and independently with limited supervision.
• Proficiency in English, including clear written and verbal communication.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with quality standards such as AS9100 is an advantage.
