Inventory Clerk

Job Title:

Material Handler Job Description This position involves supporting daily warehouse operations in a highly regulated environment, ensuring materials are handled, labeled, stored, and shipped safely. You will ad to Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) guidelines to maintain product quality and accurate documentation. This role demands strong attention to detail, effective time management, and the ability to consistently follow procedures. Responsibilities

  • Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PITs), including electric pallet jacks and turret trucks.
  • Perform basic transactions using ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning/SAP) and RF systems.
  • Support receiving and inspecting incoming materials; verify documentation and enter data accurately in ERP systems, adhering to GDP.
  • Label, stage, and store materials in appropriate warehouse locations, including cold storage, following cGMP and safety protocols.
  • Pick, pack, prepare, and ship orders, including hazardous and biological materials, in compliance with cGMP and approved procedures.
  • Fulfill reservations to support CDMO operations efficiently and accurately.
  • Transport materials across the site ensuring compliance with cGMP standards and safety protocols.
  • Assist with daily and weekly inventory cycle counts to maintain accurate material tracking and inventory control.
  • Deliver materials to internal teams such as production and quality while ensuring all movements are documented per GDP.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), cGMP, and GDP rigorously in all tasks. Essential Skills
  • At least 2 years of experience in a GMP experience.
  • Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Experience with material handling and warehouse operations.
  • Ability to operate PITs and use RF scanners. Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Preferred experience with forklifts and cherry pickers.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, etc.).
  • Open-minded, team player with a good attitude.
  • Ability to lift up to 65lbs regularly.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Gaithersburg, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00
