Job Description

Position Summary :
The Receiver is an essential role at Spectrum Foods, ensuring that our products are received into our ERP accurately, correctly, and timely so that the organization's various stakeholders can perform their functions in the same manner.
Responsibilities :
Enter receipts of inventory to our ERP, Food Connex, based upon bill of lading's submitted from the receiving dock. Enter receipts at correct prices, and coordinate with purchasers to resolve any discrepancies. Enter appropriate item adjustments when directed to by the purchasers. Alert purchasers when an issue has occurred, or a shipment varies from the purchase order in any fashion. Schedule and track all transfer trucks amongst various facilities for planned inventory needs. Follow up with our scheduler and purchasers on missing and late trucks. Maintain the company's receiving manifest for various stakeholders and prepare it daily. Liaison with the accounting team to resolve billing disputes and discrepancies that arise. Attend all required meetings of employees. Complete additional functions as required/needed by warehouse management. Complete various other tasks as needed, related to inventory management.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) Ability to work in the United States of America and be E-Verified. Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic. Ability to successfully follow directions and assignments as given by management. Ability to work effectively with others and as a member of a team or leader. Ability to work in different environments (hot, refrigerated, wet, etc.). Ability to adapt to unique and different situations and work well under stress. Preferences While not required for the job, the following requirements are preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish. Warehouse Experience. Experience in the food service industry.
