This position supports the Purchasing and Planning Department and serves as a backup to the Traffic Clerk position.
Responsibilities include:
Assist with analyzing product demand and forecasts, adjusting inventory and purchasing plans accordingly Enter purchase orders, update pricing, and other tasks within the business system as directed by others in the Department Assist the Planners with implementation of the cycle counting program Maintain and analyze inventory records and reports Investigates discrepancies to resolve inventory issues Release work orders to the Production team Serves as a backup to the Traffic Clerk Other duties as assigned The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: Inventory principles and concepts Moderate to strong computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Communication skills - listening and team building Strong customer focus with ability to effectively interact primarily with internal customers Strong organizational and prioritization skills Problem solving/analysis Purchasing principles and concepts Knowledge of products Business system software Office system software - word processing, spreadsheets

Inventory turns/cost Inventory carrying costs
Customer On-Time Delivery Accuracy/quality Timeliness Experience/Education Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Entry level, however related experience is preferred Working knowledge of Epicor business system is a plus ?
