Supply Chain Assistant - Hospital Operations Support 📍

As a Supply Chain Assistant, you'll ensure that critical supplies, equipment, and linens are delivered where they're needed—especially in high-demand areas like the operating room. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a healthcare environment while building valuable skills in logistics, inventory, and hospital operations. What You'll Do In this role, you'll keep hospital operations running smoothly through: Delivering medical supplies, equipment, and materials across the hospital campus Supporting operating room supply distribution (approximately 50% of your role) Unboxing, organizing, and staging supplies for delivery Filling supply orders accurately and on time for patient care units Distributing clean linens and collecting soiled linens from designated areas Receiving incoming shipments and stocking inventory in proper locations Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and supply requests Operating electric cart pullers and equipment to transport materials safely Communicating effectively with hospital staff to meet supply needs Keeping workspaces clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards What You Bring Customer service experience with strong communication skills Experience in inventory, supply chain, warehouse, or stocking (preferred) Ability to track, receive, and distribute supplies accurately Comfort using computers for documentation and record-keeping Strong attention to detail and reliability Ability to stay on your feet and remain active throughout your shift Self-motivation with the ability to work both independently and in a team Organizational skills to manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment Bonus Experience (Nice to Have) Hospital, healthcare, or support services experience Warehouse, stocking, or general labor experience Familiarity with inventory systems or supply tracking tools Experience using or operating material-handling equipment Interest in growing within healthcare or supply chain roles Why You'll Love This Opportunity 🏥 Gain Hospital Experience Work inside a large healthcare system and learn hospital operations Build skills that translate into healthcare and logistics careers 📈 Growth Potential Opportunity to move into longer-term or permanent roles Develop in-demand supply chain and operational skills ⏱ Flexible Scheduling Work 2-3 shifts per week with option to pick up additional hours Ideal for candidates seeking flexibility with consistent structure 🤝 Stable, Structured Environment Union-backed environment with clear processes and expectations Supportive team atmosphere focused on collaboration and service
Schedule Monday-Friday:
2:00 PM - 10:30 PM Every other weekend required Additional shifts available for those seeking more hours Work Environment Active hospital setting with frequent walking and movement Work across storerooms, corridors, and clinical support areas Use of electric cart pullers, phones, and computers Dress code: Black or khaki pants (uniform policy) Parking available via pass or street options What Success Looks Like Supplies are delivered accurately and on time Operating room and patient units remain fully stocked Work areas are clean, organized, and efficient Strong communication with hospital staff ensures smooth operations Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.77 - $19.77/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
