JOB SUMMARY
The Inventory Clerk position handles incoming shipments, maintains inventory accuracy, and ensures warehouse organization. Key duties include cycle counting, reconciling discrepancies, handling non-conforming materials, and supporting audits. Essential duties and responsibilities Receive incoming shipments of materials, products, and supplies. Ensure accuracy of incoming goods. Place store goods in assigned locations. Process non-conforming material. Maintain organization and cleanliness of warehouses. Perform auditing and cycle counting as assigned. Follow all company policies, assuring for safety. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills and Experience Position requires a high-school diploma or GED and 2-3 years of administrative inventory experience, warehouse, or material handling experience. Excellent attendance (crucial for efficiency/productivity purposes) Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office 360 products and other technologies. Able to work reliably and independently with little direct supervision are key requirements for this position. Position requires forklift experience in a warehouse environment. Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, go up and down stairs, and use hands to perform routine tasks. Able to walk while turning head and torso; bending arms, wrists and fingers; squatting, kneeling. The employee is required to reach with hands and arms to reach items on shelves. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. Must be able to stand/walk on concrete for long periods of time. The employee must have full use of sight, hearing, speech, and touch. Accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. Work Environment Work will be accomplished primarily in the company's warehouse facility. This facility is not air-conditioned but is heated. Will be required to unload equipment outside in various conditions. Mental Environment Consecutively able to perform basic arithmetic calculations accurately. Able to communicate fluently in English verbally and written.
