Full Job Description Position Summary:
The Inventory Control performs general clerical duties such as inventory accuracy, cycle counting, receiving of inbound PO's, filing, computer data entry, picking of orders, making labels, setting up inbound appointments and communicating with people of various levels. The individual in this position should be self-reliant and a self-starter with the ability to manage multiple activities.

Minimum of one-year clerical office experience, Microsoft Word experience or training, spreadsheet experience or training, Microsoft Excel preferred. Essential Job Functions Following prescribed guidelines and under general supervision, the Logistics Control performs the following duties: Picks and approves orders for trucks to be loaded using the Business Planning and Control System (BPCS/LX) computer system. Sets up inbound appointments with vendors for our 3PL warehouse. Performs data entry of warehouse transfers, inbound and outbound freight. Initiates receivers on inbound resale products and customer returns as needed. Communicates effectively with Customer Service, Corbion employees and truck drivers. Answers telephones in the warehouse and takes messages. Trains new warehouse personnel as needed. Acts as the backup for the Logistics Analyst. Prepares U. S. Customs forms for Canada trucks as needed. Works with the Traffic Department to ensure that all orders have shipped. Investigates and adjusts inventory errors. Reports findings to Warehouse Manager. Receives raw material PO's for 3PL. Prepares customer order labels as needed. Investigates and corrects all shortages throughout the day. Ensures that all paperwork is distributed to the correct personnel for shipping. Issues COA's to employees and customers. Performs other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager. General Working Environment The Inventory Analyst operates office copiers, scanners, facsimile machines and computers with various software systems. Usual Physical Activities Through the course of a typical shift an individual in this position will perform the following activities; Sits, Stands, Walks, Kneels, Bends, Reaches above and below the shoulders, Corrected vision, speaking ability, and hearing are usually involved in performing written and verbal job functions. M-F 7:00am- 4:30pm- could change slightly. Occasional Saturday's Possible OT
