Job Description

Job Title:
Warehouse Auditor Job Description & Responsibilities Use a finger scanner and computer to scan pallets of grocery items and verify that UPC codes are accurate in the system. Identify and resolve scan errors by opening packages, scanning specific units, or searching in the computer to locate and select the correct UPC. Work with two pallets side by side, moving items from a full pallet to an empty pallet after each product is scanned and verified. Handle a wide range of grocery products, including lighter items and heavier items such as bags of dog food or cases of meat, and move them safely and efficiently. Perform computer data entry accurately while using the Manhattan software to record inventory and audit results. Support picking and inventory activities as needed to maintain accurate stock records and efficient warehouse operations. Maintain a high level of attention to detail to prevent errors and ensure accurate product identification and tracking. Follow established safety protocols and warehouse procedures at all times in both ambient and refrigerated areas. Work full shifts that run from the scheduled start time until the end of production, which may vary by day. Collaborate with leaders and team members to meet production goals and support continuous improvement in audit and inventory processes. Shifts Available 3:00am

  • 1 hour for overtime/workload) Essential Skills Comfort with basic computer skills, including navigating software similar to online shopping platforms or video games.
Capability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally, including handling items such as bags of dog food and cases of meat. Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate UPC verification and error resolution. Willingness to work in both ambient and refrigerated warehouse environments. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience as an Instacart or similar shopper, demonstrating comfort with scanning and basic technology. Experience with video games or online shopping, indicating familiarity with computer interfaces and quick navigation. Recent high school graduates are well suited for the computer requirements of this role. Exposure to or experience with warehouse software such as Manhattan, although prior ERP experience is not required. Interest in growing into roles such as Shipping Clerk or leadership positions within the distribution center. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hazelwood, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00
