Ariel Premium Supply is looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Control Clerk to join our Warehouse team. This is not primarily a picking, packing, or general warehouse position. A major part of this job is physically counting inventory, completing cycle counts, comparing actual quantities with system records, and investigating discrepancies when the numbers do not match . We are looking for someone who can work carefully and efficiently, consistently count inventory correctly, use basic math confidently, and maintain accurate records in our inventory system. What You Will Do Perform regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts throughout the warehouse. Count products accurately by item/SKU, color, quantity, carton, pallet, and warehouse location. Complete hand-count requests for other departments. Compare physical inventory with system quantities. Recount and investigate discrepancies when quantities do not match. Identify misplaced, mixed, damaged, incorrectly labeled, or unidentified inventory. Enter inventory counts, transfers, movements, and approved adjustments accurately into the inventory system. Help maintain accurate bin and inventory locations. Work with Receiving, Shipping, Production, Distributor Service, Product, and other departments to resolve inventory questions. Use an iPad, laptop, desktop computer, scanner, and other warehouse devices. Assist with physical inventory and other warehouse inventory projects. What We Are Looking For Direct inventory experience is important for this position. At least 1 year of direct inventory control, cycle counting, inventory verification, or closely related warehouse inventory experience preferred. Previous experience should include physically counting inventory and maintaining or verifying inventory records. General warehouse experience alone is not sufficient unless your previous position included regular cycle counts, inventory counts, inventory verification, or discrepancy investigation. Strong basic math skills. Ability to count large quantities accurately and efficiently. Excellent attention to detail. Comfortable using computers, tablets, scanners, and inventory systems. Experience with a WMS, ERP, or other inventory-management system is strongly preferred. Ability to work independently and follow established inventory procedures. Reliable and punctual with good communication and teamwork skills. Physical Requirements This is an active warehouse position. Candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, including: Frequent walking and standing throughout the warehouse. Regular bending, reaching, and moving between inventory locations. Physically checking and counting inventory throughout the workday. Regularly lifting items weighing up to 35 pounds and occasionally handling items weighing up to 50 pounds. Occasional ladder use. Working in warehouse areas with varying temperatures. Forklift experience is preferred. Forklift certification is a plus, but Ariel may provide certification for a qualified candidate. Why Join Ariel?
