Schedule:
Monday - Friday, Overtime as needed.
Summary of duties and responsibilities:
The Tool Crib Attendant is responsible for managing the inventory, storage, distribution, and tracking of tools, equipment, and supplies used in a manufacturing or maintenance environment.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain inventory and stock PPE vending machine and First Aid supplies Receive and inventory daily deliveries Accurately complete all paperwork associated with the position Perform housekeeping tasks such as sweeping, remove scrap, pallets, cardboard, etc. Order replacement tools and supplies when inventory runs low Maintain records of tool usage and inventory levels Assist production or maintenance staff in locating proper tools Issue tools, equipment, and supplies to employees as needed Maintain accurate inventory of tools and shop supplies Coordinate tool repairs or replacements when necessary Keep the tool crib organized, clean, and secure Cross-trained to support MRO operations Additional duties as directed by management or supervision
General Work Requirements:
Basic knowledge of manufacturing or maintenance tools Attention to detail and record keeping Basic computer and inventory system skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficient in navigating Plex Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Ability to work as part of a team and cooperate with others Ability to correctly read a tape measure/ruler Multi-tasking will be required Shift and weekend overtime flexibility is required Physical environment/work conditions: Must be able to lift 50lbs Manipulate small to medium sized objects, materials or tools on a routine basis Move light to moderately heavy objects continuously Apply a specific level of strength to move an object Use arms/legs continually and repeatedly over an extended period of time Move at a moderate to fast pace across specified terrain for extended periods of time Adjust body position while performing tasks
