Job Summary Implement a daily inventory counting schedule that outlines specific items and locations to be checked, ensuring comprehensive coverage over time. After each count, compile the results and analyze discrepancies to identify patterns or recurring issues. Submit a detailed report to the Inventory Control Department Supervisor, highlighting findings, proposed corrections, and necessary adjustments to enhance inventory accuracy. Responsibilities Count product as defined by schedule. Count product that is found to be in error. Troubleshoot any problems as they occur on the DC floor related to inventory moves Analyze reason for problems in SAP and report problems to the supervisor or customer care team. Work with Shipping, stock and receiving to assure all procedures of Inventory Control is being followed. Investigate repetitious errors and their causes. Execute cycle counts via SAP Gui or SAP RF Unit. Must be able to key data rapidly and accurately and perform various clerical office functions such as typing, filing, etc. Assist with all Physical Inventories, internal and external audits. Assist in training of all stock, order pullers and receiving personnel in the DC. All other duties assigned by management. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 1+ year in distribution environment required. Prior inventory experience helpful Analytical thinking ability required. Previous Excel and Word experience. SAP Knowledge Helpful Ability to work independently with little supervision.
