Job Description

Nesco Resource is hiring a Logistics / Main for our local client in
Hickory, NC Hours:
8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday -
Friday Pay:
$17.00 an hour
Key Responsibilities Shipping & Receiving:
Load and unload incoming and outgoing freight, inspect shipments for damage, and verify bill of lading accuracy. [ 1 ]
Material Handling:
Transport raw materials and finished products safely throughout the manufacturing plant using a forklift, pallet jack, or other equipment. [ 1 ]
Inventory Control:
Conduct cycle counts, track inventory movement, and log stock status using internal warehouse management systems. [ 1 ]
Safety & Compliance:
Follow all plant safety regulations, wear mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean warehouse floor. [ 1 , 2 ]
Job Requirements & Qualifications Experience:
1 to 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics environment.
Equipment Skills:
Forklift certification or the ability to be trained and certified on-the-job.
Physical Demands:
Ability to stand for long shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and bend or reach consistently.
Education:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
