1300 About the Job Mount Laurel Animal Hospital is currently seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Inventory Assistant to support our fast-paced hospital s inventory operations. This role is critical to the day-to-day functioning of our facility and ensures that all departments are stocked and organized to deliver seamless care to patients. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and thrives in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software Assist with receiving, storing, and distributing inventory items Rotate stock and ensure treatment areas remain fully supplied Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and maintain accurate stock levels Collaborate with team members to forecast inventory needs and support supply ordering Assist in preparing reports on inventory status and help improve inventory strategies Support inventory storage organization and help resolve inventory-related issues Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Basic proficiency in inventory software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) Ability to lift and move inventory items as needed Strong communication skills and ability to work well with multiple departments Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with supply chain or inventory management systems Experience in a veterinary, medical, or pharmaceutical environment Analytical thinking and ability to identify trends in usage or purchasing Willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced hospital setting Why Choose Mount Laurel Animal Hospital?
