Compiles and maintains records of quantity, type and value of material, property, equipment, merchandise, or supplies. Counts material, property, equipment, merchandise or supplies and posts totals to inventory/ property records. Verifies and records computations against physical count of inventory and adjusts errors in computation or count, or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies. Responsible for checking in Delivery Drivers, inspecting all returning trailers, verify returned goods and damaged products and re-entering goods into inventory. Handles all matters relating to inventory control, checking quality of designated product, taking daily inventory on produce and product spoiled. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company. The Inventory Control Coordinator position will perform the following duties: Checks in Delivery Drivers, inspecting all returning trailers, verifying returned goods and damaged products and re-entering goods into inventory. Handles all matters relating to inventory control, checking quality of designated product, taking daily inventory on product. Breaks full cases of produce into smaller ones Keeps inventory up on a daily basis. Sorts through pallets of bad products. Determines quality of products returned by customers.Qualifications:
