Inventory Associate Nuwu Cannabis Marketplace - 3.5 Las Vegas, NV Job Details Full-time From $15 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Internal controls High school diploma or GED Root cause analysis Full Job Description Receive and verify deliveries using manifests and invoices; ensure packaging and transport meet compliance standards. Perform soft and hard counts of inventory; verify batch and strain data; prevent batch mixing. Label and bin product accurately using barcode systems and approved templates. Ability to interpret Certificates of Analysis (COAs) to ensure product potency and safety data match labeling requirements and regulatory standards. Print and apply barcodes and display tags; update internal systems and menus to reflect drawer assignments and pricing. Demonstrated ability to apply First-In-First-Out (FIFO) methodology to prevent product expiration and maximize shelf-life efficiency. A high 'error-detection' rate; the ability to spot small discrepancies in large datasets or high-volume physical stock. Conduct audits, including menu, display case, and full inventory counts as assigned. Proactive identification of inventory variances. Must be able to conduct 'root-cause analysis' for discrepancies (e.g., identifying mis-picks, receiving errors, or system glitches) rather than just reporting the missing numbers. Support sales readiness by ensuring product is prepped, labeled, and visible in required systems. Ability to provide objective, data-driven reports to management regarding inventory health, stock aging, and supply needs, maintaining professional boundaries and adherence to the chain of command. Follow all company policies regarding the handling of merchandise to prevent "shrinkage" and ensure 100% accuracy in physical-to-system inventory counts. Proactively safeguard inventory from loss, theft, or "shrinkage." Ensure no retail items, samples, or supplies are removed or consumed without documented supervisor approval. Responsible for immediately reporting any observed policy violations, safety hazards, or unauthorized removal of property to management or Security. Maintains a high level of productivity and adherence to all SOPs during all hours, including periods of low supervision; proactively identifies and executes secondary tasks during downtime without requiring constant redirection. Maintain clean, organized workspaces; follow all intake, prep, and security procedures. Complete additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be 21 years of age or older. High School Diploma or GED required. 1+ year of inventory or production experience; cannabis industry experience preferred. Proficiency in seed-to-sale tracking software (e.g., Metrc, Dutchie, or similar) and the ability to reconcile physical inventory with digital records in real-time.

Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to follow established procedures. Demonstrated ability to adhere to strict internal controls and a willingness to be held accountable for the accuracy and security of assigned inventory zones. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, events, or overnight audit shifts.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds. Repetitive tasks and long periods of movement or screen time. Exposure to varying temperatures, odors, and indoor warehouse conditions. The Inventory Associate is responsible for receiving, verifying, preparing, and maintaining regulated cannabis inventory in compliance with NuWu procedures and industry regulations. This includes physical handling, data entry, labeling, and auditing of products to ensure accuracy and traceability. The position requires attention to detail, adherence to SOPs, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
