Warehouse Inventory Clerk

Inventory Clerk Leading 90-year-old, New York Metal Fabrication Company is seeking an

Inventory Clerk Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for assuring all supplies and equipment are inventoried, received and distributed in accordance with company practices

Job Duties:

Pick stock orders from storeroom inventory on a timely basis Receive incoming shipments ensuring accuracy of part numbers and counts and recording all damages or shortages. Responsible for shipment of outgoing supplies, including returns, with proper packaging Route packing slips to appropriate personnel Daily record keeping and data entry duties Finished parts checking and recording cycle counts Daily, weekly and monthly inventory management duties including organizing and collecting stocks and consumables for manufacturing, stocktaking and assigning of stock to work orders Maintain stocking shelves in a neat and orderly manner Maintain storeroom, staging and stock areas in a clean an orderly manner at all times Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years' experience in inventory Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Basic computer experience Fork Lift driving is a plus- will train Use of appropriate PPE (Safety Glasses, Steel Toe Shoes, Gloves, Clothing as Directed) Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift a maximum of 75 pounds Adherence to company rules, safety programs, standards and guidelines Good attention to detail US citizen or permanent resident
