POSITION SUMMARY
Ensure raw materials are readily available for production and finished product is prepared for shipping
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate raw materials by reviewing pick lists; Return left over ingredients to freezers and coolers, adjusting count as needed; Keep accurate and current inventory; Maintain accurate holds inventory; Monitor raw material and finished good damages; Communicate any issues regarding raw materials; Administer forklift certification, as requested; Review cycle count and pick lists in a timely manner; Work in a safe manner, consistent with company safety rules and regulations Report food safety & quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED; Ability to wear personal protective equipment (bump cap, hair net, ear plugs, beard net (if applicable), Kevlar gloves, safety glasses and leather skid resistant work shoes/boots); Ability to apply basic computer/counting and communication skills, math functions, and reasoning; Ability to use basic hand tools (knife and scales); Previous experience as a forklift operator and use of RF scanner guns. WORKING CONDITIONS
Constant exposure to extreme loud noises; Constant sitting; Constant exposure to extreme hot/cold (non-weather) environment; Constant work near moving mechanical parts; Frequent lifting/carrying 50 pounds; Potential exposure to caustic chemicals.
