244 Main St, White Plains, NY Job description Leafology (White Plains' dispensary) needs an Inventory Manager to own 1,000+ SKUs end to end: the counts, the buys, the vendors, and the data behind all of it. This used to be a spreadsheet-building job. It isn't anymore. Our in-house tools track velocity, coverage, aging, and reorder priorities in real time, so the job is reading the data, questioning it, and making the call. Ideal for someone who's balanced big-box or e-comm inventory at scale and makes decisions with numbers, not vibes. Bonus points if you've ever chased down shrink like it owed you money. What you'll own Purchasing (~30-50% of the role): Source and price all our products: flower, pre-rolls, concentrates, edibles, and accessories. Forecast demand, set reorder points, negotiate like a pro, and manage tens of thousands in weekly buys. Slow movers get culled fast. Data-driven buys maximize margin and banish dead stock.

Data-driven decisions:

Our custom dashboards sit on live POS data and surface velocity, days of coverage, aging, and reorder priorities daily.

You bring the judgment:

catch the trend before it becomes a stockout, cut the dead stock before it becomes a write-off, and back every buy with numbers. Excel/Sheets stays in your toolkit for ad-hoc deep dives, but you won't be building the models from scratch. We've automated that.

Inventory operations:

Daily cycle counts, intake on multiple deliveries per day, shrink investigations, discrepancy resolution. When the count is off by one unit, you find out why.

Team leadership:

Direct our Inventory Specialist and train floor staff on intake and count discipline. You set the standard and keep it.

Compliance and audit readiness:

NY cannabis regulation is strict. You keep seed-to-sale reconciliation clean and records tight, so if regulators audit, your data holds up.

Floor presence:

We're a tight team. You may be expected to jump on register during some rushes and actually know the products you're buying. What you bring 3+ years managing high-SKU inventory (1,000+ items) in cannabis, big-box retail, grocery, or e-comm, with hands-on purchasing experience Real data analysis chops: demand forecasting, sell-through, margin math, and the ability to defend a buy (or a cut) with numbers

Advanced Excel/Google Sheets:

pivot tables, XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, clean model-building. VBA, Apps Script, or SQL is a plus. Experience leading or training a small team Dutchie POS and seed-to-sale (Metrc/BioTrack) familiarity a plus Must be 21+ (state requirement) Hiring process Excel/Sheets + data analysis test, emailed before Round 1.
