Maple Heights, OH Job Details Part-time 9 hours ago Qualifications Received goods storage Maintaining an organized workspace Merchandising Moving Shelf stocking Retail merchandising procedures Order fulfillment receiving Warehouse cleanliness Warehouse experience Stock receiving Damaged goods handling Safety standard operating procedures Entry level Full Job Description We're looking for a dependable and hardworking Back Room Associate to help process, organize, and prepare incoming merchandise for the sales floor. This is a fast-paced, hands-on position that requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
Process incoming merchandise in the back room Open, sort, tag, hang, and prepare merchandise for the sales floor Organize merchandise by department and category Assist with receiving and processing truck deliveries Move processed merchandise from the back room to the sales floor Keep the processing and stockroom areas clean, safe, and organized Properly handle damaged or incorrectly received merchandise Follow processing procedures to ensure merchandise is completed accurately and efficiently Meet daily processing and productivity expectations Assist with stocking and replenishment when needed Follow directions from the Back Room Manager and other members of management Follow all company safety and lossprevention procedures
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift, carry, push, and move 50 pounds or more Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and perform repetitive movements Must be comfortable working with boxes and merchandise in a fastpaced backroom environment
