Job Description

Position Summary:
The Material Control Handler is a warehouse position designed to perform traditional warehouse duties with an emphasis on preparing our technicians for their daily assignments. This is a critical role to ensure a timely departure for technicians and to ensure proper inventory levels.
Responsibilities:
Customer premise equipment handling -Staging, Packaging, Cleaning, Shipping, Tracking, Testing, Troubleshooting. This requires the ability to follow work orders for necessary equipment. Inventory control -Receive, issue and count inventory. Providing regular updates to management regarding any inventory issues. Clean and organize warehouse and surrounding property, load and unload shipments Operating a forklift Working outdoors and in the elements on occasion Accurately maintain daily log sheet and inventory paperwork Following Armstrong safety policies Maintain vehicle and equipment to Armstrong standards Assist in maintenance of company vehicles Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) Computer experience to include Microsoft Office Must have a valid driver's license and excellent driving record Must be able to work efficiently under time constraints Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds on a frequent basis Must meet weight limit requirements necessary for safe use of a ladder Must possess strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, hands-on work ethic, and a desire to learn Must be willing to work flexible hours when needed Who We Are The Armstrong Group is a family owned and operated collection of diverse companies.
