Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Receiver to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of goods within our distribution center. This position requires a keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to operate various warehouse equipment. The Receiver will be responsible for managing incoming shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting overall warehouse operations. •This is a full-time position - will include weekends and holidays This position's primary responsibility is the efficient and accurate checking of all grocery vendor deliveries to ensure that the shift contributes to the financial best interests of the store Responsible for controlling the flow of vendor traffic through receiving doors Receive all merchandise and process all credits according to company procedures Check/verify all items to ensure that the items listed on vendor invoices are actually delivered and meet store policy for quality, count and condition Verify all vendor invoices including legible pricing and are properly extended Communicate with the store manager any problems or situations which may affect the integrity of the store or the vendor Handle damaged and spoiled products according to company policy and assist in controlling the level of damaged goods in a timely manner Computer Literate, self motivated, detail oriented Salary to commensurate with experience And other duties as assigned my management
