Job Description

Quality Control Associate Mon.-Fri. 7am-3:30pm Overtime as needed. $16.00/hr. Duties include, but are not limited to: Assists with daily receiving and administrative operations, ensuring all incoming home decor merchandise is processed accurately and efficiently Verifies incoming shipments by carefully matching items, quantities, and item numbers against purchase orders, packing slips, and system records, identifying discrepancies and reporting them promptly. Completes product returns and transfer documentation in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring records are properly updated and aligned with inventory systems. Maintains highly organized records for received goods, damages, shortages, and overages to support inventory control. Supports seasonal volume fluctuations by prioritizing tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy during high volume receiving periods. Contributes to overall team success by assisting with additional warehouse and administrative tasks as needed to support operational goals. Protects company by always keeping business information confidential. Qualifications Experience in Microsoft Excel, including accurate data entry. Ability to maintain accuracy while processing high volumes of information. Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to identify errors, inconsistencies, or damages in both documentation and physical inventory. The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining precision and consistency in work quality. Ability to work independently and follow established receiving and safety procedures with minimal supervision. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to document discrepancies clearly and communicate effectively with team members and leadership. A strong sense of accountability and pride in accuracy, recognizing the importance of precise receiving to customer satisfaction and inventory integrity.
