This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to start a career in inventory management, logistics, or supply chain. The Inventory Control Assistant will help maintain accurate inventory records, assist with stock organization, and support overall warehouse efficiency. Key Responsibilities Assist with tracking and maintaining accurate inventory levels Perform regular cycle counts and help reconcile discrepancies Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments Label, organize, and store inventory in designated locations Support order picking, packing, and shipping as needed Update inventory data in company systems or spreadsheets Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment Communicate inventory issues or shortages to supervisors Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel or similar systems preferred) Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team Good communication skills Willingness to learn and take on new tasks Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
