JOB DESCRIPTION
The Inventory Control Associate will be responsible for the accuracy of the inventory in the plant. This person will be responsible for supporting the cycle count program based on a structured inventory control procedure. This person will also review and resolve any inventory issues found during cycle counts or found while reviewing shop orders. This person will also be responsible for all the inventory inaccuracy analytics, reviewing root causes and working with engineering and other teams to correct issues as found.
Responsibilities:
Perform daily cycle counts as directed Perform daily shop order review as well as shop order variance report and reconcile findings. Track and report adjustments to inventory for root cause analysis and process improvement Maintain and distribute weekly count results Manage inventory locations within the ERP system for accuracy Manage storage locations for all parts - Both raw materials and finished goods Working with the Senior Inventory Control Specialist, support annual physical inventory activities Review daily discrepancies with the team and initiate system procedure to correct findings. Train and coach users on proper material scanning procedures Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or 2 year's equivalent experience in inventory control and shop floor control. An in-depth knowledge of manufacturing and inventory control ERP systems. Warehousing and distribution knowledge a plus. Formal Continuous Improvement training and execution - Lean and or Six Sigma. Strong written and verbal communication skills. This person will be communicating across all levels of the organization as well as with suppliers and CCT customer service team. Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and deliver results on schedule. Other Requirements (License, Permit, Certification, Travel, Physical etc.): Lifting and physical activity may occasionally be required. Occasional travel may be required

$21.00 - $25.00 per hour
