Material Specialist Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Material Specialist to maintain accurate inventory through timely and precise data entry. The role involves investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies and system issues, identifying and correcting receiving problems, and monitoring and maintaining inventory stock levels. You will support engineering changes through allocation and inventory adjustments and collaborate with internal and external customers to deliver exceptional service. Responsibilities Ensure accurate inventory through timely and precise data entry. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and system issues. Identify and correct receiving problems. Monitor and maintain inventory stock levels. Support engineering changes through allocation and inventory adjustments. Collaborate daily with internal and external customers to deliver exceptional service. Assist with corporate material initiatives such as cycle counts, ISL management, and bin consumption tracking. Essential Skills Proficiency in inventory control, shipping and receiving. Ability to pick and pack efficiently. General labor skills. Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word. Strong phone and communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Interpersonal skills. Sound business acumen. 6 months to 2 years of experience in general office practices. Ability to pass internal Powered Industrial Equipment license test. Work Environment This position is based in a manufacturing or production environment and may involve exposure to loud noise, dust, moving machinery, or temperature fluctuations. The role may require standing for extended periods, repetitive motions, and lifting/carrying up to 35 pounds. Proper personal protective equipment must be worn when required. The dress code includes jeans, steel toes, and a clean work shirt. Work hours are 7am-3pm, with opportunities for overtime as needed. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Chambersburg, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40560.00 - $47424.00/yr.
