Job Description

Come join Dempsey Uniform and Linen Supply as a Dock Warehouse Associate at our Sunbury plant. Enjoy the stability of a growing, family-owned company. We are actively recruiting a full-time Dock Warehouse Associate. We are looking for an individual who has experience working in a production environment or a dock/warehouse. The Dock Associate will help management ensure that all trucks are accurately loaded and unloaded with our products. Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30
PM Responsibilities:
Loads and unloads product/supplies from delivery vehicles Helps with inventory control Maintains a clean environment, organizes products, and appropriately disposes of waste/trash Performs all assigned duties in a safe fashion and in accordance with OSHA standards and directives Reports any unsafe conditions or practices to management in a prompt fashion
Skills and Abilities:
Have outstanding attention to detail Be reliable Be able to work in all elements of weather
  • this is a very physical position Be able to work a regular, full-time position
  • Monday through Friday 7AM-3:30 PM
  • that may require some overtime and occasional weekend hours Have a stable work history Be able to pass extensive pre-employment background checks (including a criminal record check) and a drug test
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old Previous experience working in a fast-paced production environment or a dock/warehouse Able to work independently Must have a highly reliable work performance record Able to lift and carry 75 pounds Able to stand for 8+ hrs/day Must pass extensive pre-employment checks (including background check and drug test) Must have reliable transportation in order to report to work as scheduled Able to work in all kinds of weather The ability to drive a standard transmission truck is a plus
