Position Overview:
The Inventory Control department is responsible for the integrity and maintenance of all goods in the distribution center.
Responsibilities:
Reconciling goods received and delivered on a daily and weekly basis. Cycle Counting of merchandise and goods in the warehouse. Processing of damaged goods and merchandise. Assigning primary locations for goods and merchandise for product placement. Assist production planning team with next day's product and merchandise flow. Break primary locations daily to assist with next day's inbound production. Research SKUs to assist accounting department with weekly bill payment. Create daily projects for letdown/put away team. Assist Inventory Control Supervisor with any projects that develop to assist in daily production. Billing/crediting stores for goods. Additional responsibilities to be determined as business needs arise.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Must be accurate with attention to detail. Good communication with all team members. Ability to communicate with other departments, supervisors, other distribution center, and support center staff professionally. Must be able to work as a team with emphasis on individual goals. Proficient use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and AS400. Ability to work a flexible schedule (until work is done), including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to set for extended period of time at a desk. Ability to work on computer for extended period of time. Ability to bend and twist frequently. Ability to grip, reach, and pinch with arms and hands frequently. Ability to squat, kneel, balance, and climb occasionally. Ability to see, hear, and speak regularly.
