Full Job Description Packers and Pickers Location:

North Kingstown, RI All Shifts Available!

Pay:

$18.50 - $20 per hour depending on experience and shift differential

Key Responsibilities:

Load and unload palletized cargo to and from off-site warehouses or suppliers. Organize pallets onto racking systems using FIFO (First-In, First-Out) methods. Stage raw materials for shift consumption based on shift prep reports. Document receipt and shipment of goods using production computer systems (SAP).

Prepare outgoing loads:

palletize, wrap, tag finished products for shipment. Maintain warehouse facility, equipment, and dock areas; ensure cleanliness and sanitation. Perform cycle counts of inventory as requested. Assist production or other teams as required.

Qualifications:

Minimum 1-3 years warehouse experience (double-reach truck experience preferred). Experience operating electric forklifts, manual and electric pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment. Basic experience using production computer software or warehouse management systems (WMS); SAP experience is a plus. Ability to frequently lift and carry up to ~50 lbs for short distances. Good written and spoken English skills; clean safety record; valid driver's license (if required). Self-starter with a performance-driven attitude; ability to plan and complete tasks with urgency. Prior experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred. Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety standards. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Physical demands include lifting, carrying, walking, standing, and operating material handling equipment.
