  • Perform recounts and detailed variance research; identify root-cause drivers (receiving errors, mis-picks, mis-slots, unconfirmed moves, damage/adjustments, unit-of-measure issues, etc.) and partner with Operations to implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy across pick, reserve, and bulk locations by validating locations, lot/serial/expiry attributes (as applicable), and transaction discipline.
  • Create space and improve cube utilization within bulk storage by relocating remaining/partial pallets, consolidating product, and coordinating putaway/replenishment moves with Operations.
  • Support and coordinate physical inventory activities (wall-to-wall counts, customer requests, cycle count blitzes), including count planning, documentation, and reconciliation.
  • Process, document, and track inventory adjustments per policy; ensure approvals, audit trails, and supporting evidence are complete.
  • Provide clear, professional communication to customers and internal stakeholders when inventory counts vary from system records; share variance details, actions taken, and status of resolution.
  • Generate and distribute inventory accuracy metrics and variance reporting; identify trends and recommend process improvements.
  • Assist with maintaining inventory control SOPs and training materials; reinforce best practices for scanning, moves, and location control.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards; operate material handling equipment as required/authorized. Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related role (distribution/3PL experience a plus).
  • Proficiency with WMS/ERP systems and RF scanning; strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (filters, lookups, pivot tables preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience performing cycle counts, researching variances, and completing root-cause documentation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers regarding inventory status and variances.
  • Forklift/Scissor Lift experience or ability to become certified, as required by site operations. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to follow inventory movements end-to-end and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Organized and able to prioritize competing requests (operations support, customer count requests, audits).
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills; comfortable providing status updates and variance explanations.
  • Working knowledge of warehouse processes: receiving, put away, replenishment, picking, shipping, and returns.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain confidentiality of customer and inventory information. Physical Requirements / Work Environment
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.
