BASIC PURPOSE
Position involves all aspects of the IG assembly processes including putting up inventory stock, pulling parts, assembling, repair/restock, packing, shipping /receiving and general clean-up. The main focus of the position at this time involves putting up and pulling inventory stock.PAY RANGE
$18- 20 This is an onsite 1st shift position Top 5 skills being sought for this position:
- Ability to organize workload for timely accomplishment of work.
- Operate safely standup and sit-down style forklifts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with continuous interruptions.
- Ability to perform physical activity associated with operation of equipment including bending, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and reaching in order to meet production needs.
- Basic computer skills including MS Office.
- Operate safely overhead cranes and associated rigging equipment. Top 5 tasks for this position:
- Hands-on putting up inventory stock as received from SEW affiliates and domestic suppliers.
- Hands-on parts pulling, prepping, and staging of parts for parts orders and shop assembly orders
- Operate material handling equipment such as, but not limited to, various types of forklifts and cranes.
- Use computer for inventory/shipping/receiving in SAP & Swisslog systems.
- Rotate to various jobs within the Assembly Shop if necessary.
- Packaging, shipping/receiving, and general clean up.
