Position Description:
The Repack Clerk is responsible for performing the manual repackaging of loose products into sellable units and return to inventory. Additionally, this position will perform general warehouse labor duties as needed. Performs all duties within the objectives, standards, mission and policies of Doll Distributing LLC; State of South Dakota laws and regulations governing the beer industry; and brewery/supplier requirements.
Essential Functions:
Performs manual repack process to return product to inventory Complies with distressed product inventory procedures Must know and comply with Anheuser-Busch and other suppliers product freshness and rotation policies Completes the proper paperwork and turns into inventory control Ensures that all products are properly stacked and rotated when returning repacked to inventory Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment Must be able to read, understand and interpret all product code dates Exhibits strong commitment to the service needs of the internal/external customer Represents the company in a professional and courteous manner Other duties as assigned
Non Essential Functions:
Assist with maintenance and groundskeeping as needed Assist with customer pick-ups
Essential Skills and Knowledge:
Basic mathematical aptitude skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritize work functions Ability to obtain certification in forklift and pallet-jack operations
Qualifications:
18 years of age or older High School or GED (General Education Diploma) required Warehouse experience preferred, but not required
Working Conditions:
Temperature/Climate This position is constantly conducted in a climate-controlled environment and Occasionally in an outdoor environment Safety Considerations This position will Frequently drive forklift trucks, pallet jacks and other cleaning equipment. Personal Protective Equipment necessary Steel-toed boots/shoes with skid-proof soles may be required Physical/Mental Organizational Capabilities The individual in this role must possess the ability to walk, stand, and sit
