Warehouse Operations Manager Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and organized Product Support Associate to assist with daily operations in our product support department. This role is responsible for maintaining merchandise and inventory records, supporting warehouse logistics, and performing administrative tasks related to inventory and merchandising operations. The ideal candidate will have experience working with inventory systems, strong attention to detail, and the ability to safely perform physical warehouse tasks. This is a full-time, year-round position with benefits. Key ResponsibilitiesInventory & Warehouse Operations Receive, inspect, count, and stock incoming shipments from vendors Check, price, and properly store inventory within the warehouse Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized systems Conduct routine inventory counts and audits Receive products into inventory systems as needed Delivery & Logistics Deliver transfers to visitor centers and trail boxes Transport materials such as cornmeal and wheat flour to the warehouse facility Load and unload merchandise for storage and delivery Assist with delivery operations using company vehicles Facility & Equipment Maintenance Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse Assist with upkeep of warehouse equipment and tools Operate equipment such as forklifts, hand trucks, delivery vans, and trucks Administrative & Support Duties Assist in mail-order operations when needed (packing orders, supporting customers) Answer phones and provide assistance as required Use software such as word processing, spreadsheets, and inventory databases Additional Responsibilities Perform general warehouse duties including unboxing, shelving, pricing, and organizing stock Assist with loading, unloading, and moving merchandise Transport products to sales outlets as needed Support team operations and perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Experience in warehouse, inventory, or merchandising operations preferred Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office or similar systems) Ability to operate or learn warehouse equipment (forklift experience a plus) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Must have and maintain a valid driver's license Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods Comfortable working in a warehouse environment How to Apply Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your experience to: Leah@Smokieslife.org or go to www.smokieslife.org to fill out our online application.
