Full Job Description Job Summary:
Picks and prepares shipments and apply all applicable documentation; verifies records on outgoing paperwork to what is picked and prepared to ship.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Compares identifying product information of outgoing shipments to verify against orders or other records. (i.e. Top Sheet and packing list) Prepares bar code labels and documentation using WMS system. (RF scanner) Applies identifying information onto cartons and/or skids of cartons. Verify labels match scanned parts. Uses WMS computer system (RF scanner) for inventory availability and reconciliation. Performs daily inventory counts and reconciliations as required to maintain an accurate inventory. Operates stand-up, sit-down forklift and pallet jack as needed including placing and removing product from shelving as well as travel. Performs all safety checklists (forklift). Maintains 5S standards. Ensures warehouse is kept in a safe and clean environment. Operates Label Line when needed. Performs valve assembly/kitting when needed. Meets company's attendance standards. Performs other duties as requested or required.
Physical & Mental Requirements:
Must have legible handwriting. Must have basic math knowledge. Capable of standing for long periods of time and frequent bending and stooping throughout the defined shift. Ability to operate a sit-down, stand-up forklift, and pallet jack safely. Moderate decision-making and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to lift up to eighty (80) pounds. Capable of working alone Able to effectively verbally communicate with team members. Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect boxes.
Working Conditions:
Warehouse facility, shipping dock. Moderate noise level. Must wear steel toe shoes.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED. Working knowledge of part numbers preferred. Previous operation of forklift preferred. Working knowledge of inventory process and personal computers preferred. On-the-job, in-house training must be completed. An Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/H/V
