Full Job Description Description:
The Dish Associate is responsible for the care, handling, cleaning, and preparation of dishware and related tabletop items used at events. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the quality, presentation, and inventory integrity of cups, plates, silverware, glassware, and other dish items to ensure they meet Company standards before and after client use. Dish Associates meticulously inspect, clean, sort, and package dish inventory to prevent loss or breakage and to ensure all items are event-ready. They pick and pull dish items according to event orders, verify quantities and product accuracy, and complete quality checks prior to staging or loading. Associates are expected to work efficiently to meet production timelines while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and accuracy. This position requires close attention to detail, accountability for inventory, and the ability to work collaboratively within a warehouse team environment. Dish Associates must follow written instructions, order sheets, and inventory documentation to ensure accurate fulfillment of client orders. Requirements:
Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds consistently Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, push, and pull for extended periods of time Ability to climb ladders and work at varying heights Ability to perform repetitive movements throughout the shift Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels Skills and Qualifications Ability to read, write, and identify numbers accurately Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Basic understanding of warehouse operations preferred Previous warehouse or event rental industry experience is a plus but not required Commitment to workplace safety and proper lifting techniques Reliable attendance and punctuality
