Job Description

Job Summary US Display Group, Inc., a premier manufacturer of Point of Purchase displays, is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Clerk to support our warehouse and production operations. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, performing cycle counts, and ensuring proper movement and storage of materials throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on forklift experience and a strong commitment to accuracy and safety. Position Overview The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, performing cycle counts and audits per company policies and procedures, and operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, store, and organize inventory. Duties include counting supplies, reporting discrepancies between physical inventory and system records, and identifying damaged, returned, or mis-ordered inventory. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Valid forklift certification required; minimum 1 year of forklift operating experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an inventory control, warehouse, or related role. Proficiency with inventory management systems (3PL experience a plus). Basic computer skills including spreadsheet applications (Excel or similar). Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility and openness to changing priorities. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Physical Demands Must be able to operate a forklift and other powered industrial vehicles for extended periods. Regularly required to stand, walk, and work on the warehouse floor for long periods of time. Frequently required to use hands to handle materials; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Work Environment The work environment is representative of a manufacturing and warehouse facility. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and powered industrial vehicles. The employee may be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Appropriate PPE is required.
