Full Job Description Overview:
Cummings Electrical is hiring an Inventory Clerk at our Integrated Manufacturing facility in Arlington, TX. Cummings Electrical is expanding our Integrated Manufacturing team. We design and build custom, integrated, modular systems such as e-houses, electrical skids, HAC's and UL 508A panels for a wide range of projects, including data centers, healthcare facilities, industrial plants, and more. Responsibilities:
Record inventory movements in the WMS and other inventory systems, maintaining accurate, real-time stock levels. Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with full physical inventory counts, reporting discrepancies to the Inventory Supervisor. Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and equipment, ensuring proper documentation and condition. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely to move and store materials. Organize inventory to ensure materials are easily accessible for production and operational needs. Ensure materials, components, and finished goods are available to meet production schedules. Assist in moving materials to the appropriate warehouse and production areas to maintain workflow. Process inventory transactions, including stock adjustments, returns, and order fulfillment. Participate in audits to confirm inventory accuracy and compliance with safety and quality standards. Follow safety protocols for material handling and equipment use, maintaining an organized and hazard-free work environment. Generate inventory reports and assist the Inventory Supervisor and Warehouse Manager with administrative or operational tasks as needed. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday:
6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (subject to business needs) Occasional Saturdays as required During active projects, hours may shift to 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with some
Saturdays Qualifications:
Certification and experience operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment. Familiarity with Warehouse Management Software (WMS) or other inventory tracking systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for inventory reporting, documentation, and creation. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with a record of maintaining or improving inventory accuracy. Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Demonstrated initiative and teamwork; ability to support and guide peers in inventory or warehouse procedures. Comfortable stepping into a leadership role when needed to support operational flow and team performance.
