Miramont Country Club is an elite private country club located in Bryan, Texas, offering a memorable experience centered around championship golf, fine dining, and exceptional service. As a Receiving Agent on our team, you will be instrumental in receiving, ordering, inspecting, storing and maintaining all products and purchases for our Kitchen department. This role provides the opportunity to work with our Kitchen team to assist in the procurement of all food and beverage products, equipment, supplies, materials and other items needed for the Club. Interacting with vendors and other departments in the Club. While maintaining a clean and organized area including walk-in coolers and freezers.
Job Summary:
The Receiving Coordinator is responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, and distributing all food, beverage, and kitchen supply deliveries while maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring compliance with Club standards and health regulations. This role organizes and maintains all storage areas, rotates inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures, labels and dates products, and ensures all items are stored safely and properly. Responsibilities include verifying deliveries against purchase orders and invoices, monitoring product quality, processing invoices and purchase requisitions, maintaining supplier records, and communicating with vendors regarding shortages, pricing, and returns. The position also assists with monthly inventory counts, maintains receiving equipment, uniform storage, and safety documentation (MSDS), reports maintenance needs, supports purchasing activities, and works closely with the Executive Chef to ensure efficient inventory management and cost control. Additional duties include participating in training, issuing products to departments, setting up uniforms for new kitchen employees, and performing other responsibilities as assigned.

Job Qualifications:
Good attitude and highly motivated self-starter. High School diploma or equivalent. Must be able to handle stress in a healthy and professional manner. Must be able to complete tasks in an accurate and timely manner. Knowledge of and ability to perform required role in emergency situations. Able to meet and perform the physical requirements and to work effectively in an environment which is typical of this position. May need to use some protective equipment, such as non-slip shoes, apron, hat, etc..

Must be able to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach. Must be able to make continuous repetitive motions. Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Must be able to work in a busy, noisy environment. Must be able to handle working conditions which may be cold, hot, humid, wet/slippery. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Pay:
From $14.50 per hour
